Leah Gruhn
Gravel + Bikepacking
Leah lives in Duluth, MN and has biked year-round for about 10 years. The Heck of the North 100 miler was the first bike race that she ever participated in – the race was very challenging and muddy, but she finished and she was hooked. Since then, she’s gone on to participate in many long gravel races in the Midwest as well as Tour Divide. One of her favorite aspects of gravel racing is the community, strengthened by the bonds that develop between racers after many miles together. She wants to give back to the gravel cycling community and encourage newcomers by being one of the Heck’s Gravel Go-Tos.
Ask her about women’s-specific issues, logistical racing questions, her two cents on how she tackles any aspect, and anything that might feel like a “dumb question” (since there’s no such thing).
